Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026

1. Service Overview

BSG API Hub ("the Service") is operated by Business Software Group ("BSG", "we", "our"). The Service provides pay-as-you-go access to REST APIs including UK Postcode Lookup and CV Parsing. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts & Authentication

You may register using email/password or social login providers (Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Apple). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and API keys. Each account is for a single individual or organisation.

3. Tokens & Billing

API usage is billed in tokens. Tokens are purchased in advance through Stripe and are non-refundable. Tokens do not expire. Only successful API responses deduct tokens — failed requests are free. All prices are in GBP (British Pounds Sterling). VAT at the prevailing UK rate is added to all purchases.

4. API Keys

You may generate multiple API keys. Each key can be restricted by IP whitelist, daily call limit, and service scope. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure. If you suspect a key has been compromised, revoke it immediately from your dashboard.

5. Fair Use

The Service is intended for legitimate business and development use. Automated abuse, DDoS attempts, reverse-engineering of data sets, or redistribution of bulk data are prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend accounts engaging in abusive behaviour.

6. Data & Privacy

API requests and responses are processed in real time and not stored beyond what is needed for billing. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance with advance notice where possible. No tokens are deducted for requests during downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

BSG API Hub is provided "as is". Our liability is limited to the value of unused tokens in your account. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered account holders. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
